Friday marks the first day of a new school year here at NPH. I have spent much of this week making new materials for some of our little ones to help set them up for success in the classroom. Here is a social story that I made for one little guy. A visitor to NPH last year gave us therapists access to her SymbolStix library, which are the symbols used in the Proloquo2go app on the iPad, and which I use in virtually all of my visual materials in therapy. We will start reading this book in therapy tomorrow and then this child's tias will continue to read it with him in his home to help remind him of what his new daily routine will be!
