To celebrate the anniversary of NPH Guatemala, we (all of the children, volunteers, and staff) were put into 12 groups and given the task of creating a dance and original song. The theme this year was occupations, and each group was assigned one. My group was called the Albañiles, or bricklayers/masons. We put cement on our pants and dirt on our shoes and had a great time :)
After three weeks of practicing, I think it went pretty well. It was fun to see what the other groups came up with too. Tomorrow, we have a day full of games to continue the celebration. We will stay in our groups and compete for points. May the best team win...
